Aiken Smith DC

Doctor of Chiropractic (MChiro)

Aiken was introduced to the world of Chiropractic at a very young age, some say he was born into it due to the influence from his father, Alasdair. Aiken recently graduated from McTimoney College of Chiropractic with a Masters in Chiropractic. He currently offers McTimoney and Diversified chiropractic techniques with the ambition to learn further styles in the future.

Currently he divides his work life between Coxheath Chiropractic & Natural Therapy Centre and Business Change Lead within the NHS.

Outside of work Aiken is a family man who loves all manner of sports. Aiken grew up football mad, especially Liverpool FC and also loves skiing (when he can get on the slopes).

Aiken’s claim to fame: Aiken has represented Scotland at international dodgeball and won a plethora of dodgeball medals.

Alasdair Smith

Chiropractor

Alasdair trained, originally, as a psychiatric nurse and then continued to work on the Regional Secure Unit, as a staff nurse for a total of 10 years at the Maidstone Hospital. As well as counselling, Alasdair also qualified in massage.

Following a back injury, for which he tried a variety of treatments, Alasdair was eventually introduced to McTimoney Chiropractic. It worked so well for him that he was hooked!
Alasdair trained at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, Abingdon, qualifying in 1992 and set up the Coxheath Chiropractic Clinic in 1993.

Alasdair has worked at the college since qualifying as both a clinical and practical tutor and as well as Senior technique instructor, until recently.

In 2010 Alasdair ran his second London Marathon raising funds for cancer charities.

Alasdair’s claim to fame: In 2009, and again in 2017, as part of our team, Coxheath 'til I pie, we became the Official World Custard Pie Champions.
